Scott D. Pfeiffer received a Liberal Arts degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1997 and a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in 2000. Mr. Pfeiffer is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as a member of the Federal Trial Bar, United States Disctrict Court for Southern Illinois and the Northern District Court for Northern Indiana.

Mr. Pfeiffer has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation and ERISA litigation. His experience also includes bankruptcy and administrative law. He is a contributing author to the Illinois Rules and Regulations for the Administration of the Real Estate Brokers and Salesman License Act of 2000. He now practices in the areas of asbestos and silica, coal miners' pneumoconiosis and general defense litigation.

Mr. Pfeiffer is also a member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, where he serves on the Short Line Railroad Committee.
