Tamika D. Marshall received a B.A. in Criminal Justice at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte in 1999. She received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January 2003 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Prior to joining Gunty & McCarthy in April 2005, Ms. Marshall worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in Kane County, Illinois where she developed a significant amount of trial experience in traffic, misdemeanor and domestic violence cases. She is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and American Bar Association. She currently assists Ms. Gunty as National Coordinating Counsel for defendents sued in asbestos cases in various states. Ms. Marshall has prepared numerous asbestos cases for trial and/or pre-trial resolution and has appeared at numerous court hearings as an associate at Gunty & McCarthy.
