ERICA S. LONGFIELD received a B.S. at Indiana University in 2004 and graduated with Honors in Psychology and with a minor in Biology. Ms. Longfield received her J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 2007 and was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois at that time. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Longfield is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Since her admission to the bar in 2007, Ms. Longfield began her career in private practice  defending clients in criminal matters. More recently, she began concentrating her practice in insurance defense litigation and is currently defending clients ranging from a local distributor to a Fortune 500 Corporation in asbestos cases in many jurisdictions throughout the State of Illinois.
