STEPHANIE M. GALETTI graduated, cum laude, in 2000 from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a B.A. in Administration of Justice, and after spending two years working as a DCFS-licensed foster care caseworker, she began her law school studies at Southern Illinois University School of Law.  In 2005 Stephanie graduated, also cum laude, with her J.D. degree. 

Stephanie was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2005 and to the Missouri Bar in 2007. Additionally, she is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri, and the Western District of Missouri. She is a member of the Illinois and American Bar Associations.

During her tenure at law school, Stephanie continued her six years of service through the local Women's Shelter as a sexual assault and domestic violence victim's advocate and also provided pro bono representation to victims of domestic violence through her school's Domestic Violence Clinic. Additionally, she worked at the Jackson County State's Attorney's Office prosecuting criminal matters.

Since law school, has concentrated her practice on civil litigation specializing in medical malpractice, catastrophic injury/wrongful death, products liability, automobile and insurance coverage actions, governmental immunity matters, regulatory issues, and appellate work.  For the past six years, she has concentrated almost exclusively on the defense of toxic tort actions. Stephanie has successfully mediated, arbitrated, and amicably resolved numerous cases in favor of her clients and has gained extensive deposition and courtroom experience.

Ms. Galetti continues to support and is active in a variety of charitable children's organizations, community outreach centers, and disabled veterans groups, both locally and on a national level.  Some of these include The Ronald McDonald House, Make-A-Wish, American Childhood Cancer Organization, CureSearch, St. Jude's Research Hospital, National Childhood Cancer Society, St. Louis Food Outreach, and Wounded Warrior Project, among others.
