Jocelynn Jordan-Kerzner received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in May of 2022 and was subsequently admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2022. In addition to her Juris Doctor, Jocelynn graduated with a Business Law Certificate and attended DePaul with a Dean’s Scholarship and a Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Fellowship. Prior to law school, Jocelynn graduated from the University of Memphis, with honors and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish.
Jocelynn’s experience includes the role as legal administrator for a Chicago area boutique family law firm which provided her with invaluable experience in all aspects of litigation and client relations from pre-suit to post-judgment proceedings, as well as firm management. Upon graduating law school, Jocelynn served as a Judicial Law Clerk Attorney to the Honorable Judge Ronald F. Bartkowicz in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Jocelynn also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, during which she defended the Illinois Department of Corrections and its agents against prisoners’ Section 1983 civil rights claims. Upon leaving the public sector, Jocelynn joined a mid-sized civil defense litigation firm in Chicago where she began her career in the defense of catastrophic losses, including claims from construction, transportation and trucking, premises liability, coverage matters.
Jocelynn is a zealous advocate for her clients and approaches all matters with the intent to resolve them as expeditiously and cost effective as possible. Jocelynn enjoys complex, multi-party suits which require her innovative and strategic approach to representing her clients’ interests.
Outside the practice of law, Jocelynn enjoys spending time with her husband and their five year old beagle, Cobbler, in Toronto, Canada where they split their time.
